What types of clients do you work with?

I primarily work with small businesses in service-based industries (such as photography, coaching, marketing, counseling, salons, etc)
I also have experience with product-based businesses and can help whether they are online or in person (such as Shopify and Etsy shops, bakeries, boutiques, etc)
I have a special fondness for clients in the wedding industry and extra expertise in this niche since I've worked in it as well. Planners, photographers, florists, invitation shops, I see you!

What bookkeeping software do you work with?

I am certified in Xero and recommend it for most clients. It's included in the cost of working with me and connects easily with banks and other systems such as Stripe. I also have experience with Quickbooks and other software if you prefer to stay in one that is already working well for you.

Can you help clean up past month's books?

Absolutely - whether you've been doing the books yourself or had someone helping you, I can review and correct prior periods before starting on regular monthly bookkeeping. Discounts are offered on clean up work if you stay on as a monthly bookkeeping client going forward.

I have employees or want to hire them. Can you help with payroll taxes?

Yes, I can help you choose a payroll provider and will record the payroll entries as part of the monthly bookkeeping.

Do you prepare sales tax returns (and other miscellaneous taxes)?

Yes, for an additional fee I can help you determine when sales and other miscellaneous tax filings are needed and file them for you. If you need a large number of sales tax filings I can connect you with a sales tax software provider.

Can you prepare my business or personal income tax return?

I am not accepting any new income tax clients at this time, but I may in the future as I have availability.
